Heavy-duty forged and welded eye bolts have a complete or partly looped end to which a cable can be fastened. This allows them to hang several items, making them ideal for hooking in wood pole applications.
Our forged eye bolts come with two washers and one nut. One washer is welded into the hook body.

Material

The eye bolt body is made of steel, grade S355JO(EN10025-2), and the square washers are made of steel, grade S235JR(EN10025-2). The high-strength, easy-to-forge material can bear heavy loads.

Surface Treatment

Surface treatment: Hot dip galvanized IS01461, free from sharp burrs, zinc drips, or spikes, and durable in harsh environments.

Process 

  • Forging: The hook body undergoes a forging process to ensure high strength.
  • Metal Fabrication: The washers are processed by stamping; it’s efficient and cost-saving
  • Welding: The washer is welded to the body by resistance welding.
  • Threading: Metal threading guarantees that the threaded eye hooks function correctly and operate efficiently.

Mechanical Performance

In the forging process, the steel is punched and deformed, but the grain flow remains unbroken, allowing it to maintain strength.
